You Love to move your Body
Hike, Bike, Dance, Play, Garden...
But lately, it's not feeling quite so fun to be in your body. Maybe it has been going on for a long time and you have been told nothing can be done about it, or you have tried all sorts of things and nothing seems to really keep you feeling good.
Or maybe you just don't feel quite as good as you used to or want to. Are you just getting old?
NO!
You are right!! Something IS going on. Pain is one of your bodies primary communication systems to tell you that something is not right. It might be very minor right now, but very minor over many years generally turns into major in the long run.
How can I help?
Working together with hands on treatment we can lengthen, organize, and enliven your tissues that have become stuck in their patterns and maybe all together forgotten about.
Together we will find a more balanced YOU.

What is Structural Integration?
Structural Integration focuses on balancing the fascial tissue layer by layer from the ground up. Any pain or discomfort you have is a full body issue whether it feels like one or not. As we compensate for pain, injuries, jobs, child care, childbirth, driving, computer time..... life, we put uneven stresses on our bodies. When left unattended, these uneven stresses can turn into nagging aches and pains or possibly unwanted surgeries that seem to come from nowhere, but have actually been building for quite sometime.
The more you put into the sessions the more you get out of them. Because your body and mind learn through engagement, this process requires you to be present and actively involved in your healing. That may consist of getting on and off the table for you to stand and walk around to recalibrate and notice any shifts or changes that may be happening.

What is Fascia?
|
Fascia is connective tissue that creates strength and structure within the body. Think of it as kind of like a spider web that exists throughout the entire body. Not only does this spiderweb exist within every muscle in our bodies, but is also surrounds every muscle and organ supporting them to do their functions. Fascia is continually building up and being taking down. It builds in the direction of force. So the activities that you spend the most time doing, are the most reinforced with heavy layers of fascia. Sometimes this can be inhibiting and problematic and keep us in patterns that can be painful and harmful.

"Taylor has transformed my body. I move through the world with strength and balance because of everything she’s taught me." ~EE |
When your body feels better, you feel better.

"A powerful body and spirit, Taylor intuitively finds hidden spots in the body that need attention and uses a really unique combination of modalities to balance not just muscles, but also energetics. The result is incredible opening and movement! A session with Taylor leaves me, for lack of a better term, gooey - I have space, opening, and relaxation throughout my body. I highly recommend Taylor if you want to work with someone who has deep knowledge of how the body moves, protects, holds, and releases from the inside out. You won't regret it!"
